Final Fantasy VII is a wonderfully popular game for the Sony Playstation. It includes a kick-butt main character by the name of Cloud Strife, a guy who used to work for Shinra, the enemy, but now has joined AVALANCHE, who is working to save a planet. But Cloud is at the beginning quite careless of the mission and the people on the planet(and is often classified a total jerk), and he is quite anxious to collect his fee from Barret, AVALANCHE's group leader. Barret has disliked and distrusted Cloud from the beginning, and treats him with little respect. Barret, a large man, is not to be intimidated, so no one besides Cloud is brave enough to mess with him. When Cloud does, he gets yelling at and threatened to be pounded.

Their mission is to blow up the reactor at Midgar. When they successfully do so, they head by train to their hideout and evade Shinra guards. When running through one of the streets in the Midgar slums, Cloud notices a girl trying unsuccessfully to sell flowers on the street. Here is where you meet Aeris Gainsborough and determine whether to be a nice Cloud or an unholy butthole Cloud. (Meaning you by a flower or you don't.)

Arriving at the hideout may be the best part of the game, in my opinion. Here is where Cloud meets up with his childhood friend, Tifa Lockheart. A beautiful girl with long, raven black hair, she is delighted to see her best friend again. Cloud can either give the flower he bought to her or to Marlene, Barret's extremely shy and illogically Caucasian daughter. Either will win big Brownie points with Tifa.

Anyhow, I won't go through the whole game, but you'll meet up with characters such as Sephiroth, Rufus, Reno, Red XIII, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, Biggs, Wedge, Cait Sith, Jessie and many more.
